Head of OSCE Office in Baku meets with representatives of political parties and chairmen of election commissions

Ganja. Jamshid Bakhtiyar â€“ APA. Head of OSCE Office in Baku Bilge Cankorel met with the local representatives of nine political parties and chairmen of election commissions in Ganja, APAâ€™s west bureau reports. They discussed some issues on the forthcoming local elections. Bilge Cankorel said OSCE is interested in taking steps forward on principles of legitimacy, political pluralism and transparency in the elections. Bilge Cankorel answered the questions of the representatives of local political parties.
Cankorel told APA that the meetings with the representatives of parties and chairmen of election commissions were optimistic.
â€œA change is felt in the mood of the chairmen of commissions. I believe they are interested in the democratic elections,â€ he said.
