Ali Ahmadov meets with US Embassyâ€™s Counselor for Political Affairs Johanna Gansen

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. Vice Chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov met with the Counselor for Political Affairs of the US Embassy in Azerbaijan Johanna Gansen, YAP press service told APA. The meeting took place at the YAP office. Ahmadov informed the counselor about the preparation to upcoming municipal elections, innovations, the work with the candidates, campaign activities and preference given to young people and women during the elections. Ahmadov informed the US diplomat about the draft laws to be discussed at the parliament in its autumn session and their prospects as well.

The YAP official mentioned the Turkish-Armenian relations and said the Turkish government always supported the Azerbaijanâ€™s position and these relations would continue to develop dynamically. Ahmadov complained about the non-activity of the OSCE Minks Group and said Azerbaijani people were dissatisfied with the non-objective activity of this group.
