Azerbaijanâ€™s President receives chairman of Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s President Ilham Aliyev has received the delegation led by chairman of Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Tarig Majid, Presidentâ€™s press service told APA. Tarig Majid said it is his first visit to Azerbaijan, underlined the hospitality and said Azerbaijan is a beautiful country.

The head of state underlined successful development of the relations, said Azerbaijan and Pakistan are close partners and allies. Ilham Aliyev said Pakistan is Azerbaijanâ€™s friend and expressed his confidence that the relations will further expand in all spheres, including military cooperation. President said the visit of chairman of Pakistan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee will strengthen the relations.
