Baku. Rashad Suleyamnov – APA. “It is difficult to predict unequivocally the results of Chisinau negotiations,” chief of socio-political department of the President’s Administration Ali Hasanov said, APA reports.
“Azerbaijan has stated that any effort of settlement aiming to violate our country’s territorial integrity will be rejected. We also take into consideration the real situation. We are ready to obey the norms of the international law concerning the future life and living, rights of the ethnic Armenians living in Nagorno Karabakh. Unfortunately, unconstructive position of Armenians impedes progress in this field. Therefore it is impossible to predict how Armenian leadership will act in Chisinau meeting and in the following meetings. Sometimes, the issues agrees in one meeting became a problem in another meeting. This impeded the following stage of the negotiations. That’s why much depends on the position of Armenian leadership in this issue,” he said.

Ali Hasanov also took a stance on the replacement of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.
“The role of personality in diplomatic issues is undeniable. But in some cases, position of a co-chair or a diplomat created obstacles to the process or vice versa. Co-chairs of the Minsk Group should be aware of the essence of the conflict, understand existing realities in details and comply with the rules of international law whilst making decision. At this rate, one may get positive progress in the solution of the problem irrespective of the co-chair of the Minsk Group”.
