First vice-speaker of Azerbaijani parliament: â€œWe would like to believe in the sincerity of Turkish officialsâ€™ statementsâ€

MP Fazil Mustafa offered to begin the academic year in Azerbaijan on September 1, not on September 15. MP Hadi Rajabli noted that the new administrative building of the parliament improved the working conditions of the parliamentarians.

Igbal Agazadeh spoke about honorary titles given to art figures. He offered to establish a council, commission controlling the honorary titles.
Jamil Hasanli spoke about the imprisoned journalists. According to him, the woman, who was known as the sufferer in the arrest of Ganimat Zahid, editor-in-chief of Azadlig newspaper, has been arrested recently.
â€œNow it is known that she was wanted when Ganimat Zahid was arrested. It is shameful,â€ he said.
MP Azay Guliyev offered to adopt law on charitable activity and social order.
MP Zahid Oruj said Turkey and Azerbaijan should sign a roadmap before the signing of protocols between Turkey and Armenia.
MP Eldar Ibrahimov proposed to broadcast Nakhchivan television throughout Azerbaijan.

MP Ali Masimli spoke about the preparations for winter season and urged for improving of energy and gas supply.
MP Aynur Guliyeva called on the parliament to hold hearing on Karabakh problem.

First vice speaker of the parliament Ziyafat Asgarov expressed concern over the negotiations between Turkey and Armenia. â€œDespite that Turkish officials promised not to take actions hurting Azerbaijan, but initialed protocols show certain work is done. We would like to believe in sincerity of those statements. We consider that interests of both Azerbaijan and Turkey should be taken into consideration in the documents to be signedâ€.

Asgarov expressed opinion on Hasanliâ€™s ideas about the arrested journalists. He said everybody was brought in justice for own action.

Then Speaker Ogtay Asadov announced about limit of discussions on current issues, which caused MP Panah Huseynliâ€™s protest.
Then the parliament began discussions on legislative issues.
