New building of Azerbaijani Parliament commissioned

APA reports the president cut the symbolic red ribbon and acquainted himself with the new building.
Ground-breaking ceremony of the new building of the Parliamentâ€™s administrative office was held on November 3, 2007. 15-storeyed new building has been equipped with all conditions meeting the international standards, including various rooms for MPs, meetings, meeting halls, electronic library, garage, restaurant and etc.
After the acquaintance with the building, President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva were awarded an â€œHonorary Medal of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Republicâ€ for their exceptional contributions to the development of parliamentarism and strengthening of interparliamentary relations.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the construction of the parliamentâ€™s new building and conditions created here and wished successes to the activity of the legislative body.
