Baku City Hall does not allow BAXCP to picket US, EU and OSCE embassies

Baku. Elnur Mammadli – APA. Baku City Executive Power rejected the appeal of All Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (BAXCP) to hold protest actions before the US embassy on September 23, EU Office on September 24 and OSCE Office on September 25.

The executive power refused to review appeal for protest action on September 23 because it was submitted not in time, BAXCP press service told APA.

The city hall didn’t consider it expedient to hold protest actions before the EU and OSCE offices in Baku.

BAXCP called the city hall’s refusal as an illegal action.

The party spread resolution of the protest action planned to be held before the US embassy and condemned US support for Armenia and pressure on Turkey to open borders with Armenia. The party said it was impossible to achieve peace in the region with double-standard policy and called on the United States to end support for invader country and not to pursue policy worse that Iran and Russia.
