New chairman of Open Society Party: â€œThere was a need to dismiss Zamina Dunyamaliyeva from the partyâ€

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. â€œThere was a need to dismiss Zamina Dunyamaliyeva from the Open Society Party. She violated the regulations several times, expressed views damaging the political course of the party,â€ new chairman of the Open Society Party Vagif Mahmudov told APA. He said this is the opinion of the Supreme Assembly members who voted for the decision. Mahmudov refuted the reports that leader of the party Rasul Guliyev initiated to dismiss Dunyamaliyeva. The proposal was made by the members of the Supreme Assembly.

Mahmudov noted that there will be no changes in the management or leadership of the party. He said they are interested in cooperating with other parties.
â€œBut we made a decision not to join any bloc. But we can cooperate with other parties,â€ he said.
Mahmudov added that the party will not participate in the local elections this year.
