President Ilham Aliyev congratulates Azerbaijani People on Eid-al-Fitr

According to APA, the head of state said Holy Ramadan is a month when Holy Quran, a treasure of divine wisdoms, was sent to the people and it invites the people to peace, welfare and equality and demonstrates triumph of moral and spiritual purity and kindness. â€œOur people are always loyal to the national spiritual and Islamic values. Azerbaijan was one of the historical and cultural centers of the Islamic civilization. It is notable that Baku was announced the Islamic Culture Capital in 2009. The national and religious ceremonies, including Holy Ramadan are celebrated with great solemnity in our country, which is an integral part of the Islamic world. Our citizens, who honestly served their duties before Allah and religion during Holy Ramadan are sharing the holiday happiness with great pleasure, wishing welfare and peace for our country and people. Memories of our martyrs, who lost their lives for territorial integrity and freedom of our country, are commemorated throughout the country. I express my solidarity with all of your good intentions on these Holy Ramadan days and pray Allah to accept your prayers, my dear sisters and brothers!
