Classic Popular Front Party to clarify issue on participation in local elections tomorrow

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. Classic Popular Front Party will clarify the issue on participation in the local elections tomorrow, chairman of the party Mirmahmud Miralioglu told APA that the meeting of the Supreme Assembly will be held tomorrow. The final decision will be made at the meeting.
â€œInitial discussions concerning the elections were held in the party, we intend to participate in the elections. Issues on the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan Popular Front will be discussed at the meeting of the Supreme Assembly and plan of events will be prepared,â€ he said.

As regards the form of participation in the elections, Miralioglu said the issue was still open.
â€œWe are discussing this issue both inside the party and together with our allies. There is no concrete decision about it yet. But we have initiatives to turn the Union for Democracy to the election bloc. Some measures will be taken to realize this initiative,â€ he said.
