Parliament’s committee on economic policy holds meeting

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. Parliament’s committee on economic policy has held a meeting today. Amendments and annexes to the law on “Assessment activity” and Code of Administrative Offences were discussed at the meeting, APA reports. Chairman of the committee Ziyad Samadzadeh gave information about the issue. He said that the proposed amendments aimed to strengthen the country’s economy and regulate the legislation in line with the new market principles.

Samadzadeh noted that the amendments had been initiated by the International Finance Corporation.
“Amendments proposed to both documents will serve to make more exact assessment,” he said.

Following the discussions, the document was recommended to the plenary meeting of the parliament.
