Gular Ahmadova offers to cancel “Flowers festivity” marked on May 10 every year

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. Parliamentarian Gular Ahmadova offered to cancel “Flowers festivity” marked on May 10 every year. APA reports that the parliamentarian out forth the offer while addressing the parliament. The parliamentarian said it was inexpedient to spend AZN 14-15 million to celebrate “Flowers festivity”.

She said it would be better to build a park “10 May”, where people could have a rest.

Baku Mayor’s Office organizes “Flowers festivity” in the capital on May 10 every year.
