Milli Mejlis ratifies agreements between Azerbaijan and Kuwait, Iran

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. On Tuesday, Milli Mejlis ratified a number of agreements Azerbaijan signed with Iran and Kuwait. Azerbaijan and Iran signed agreements for the lifting of double-taxation and prevention of tax avoidance, APA reports. The countries also signed a protocol for comprehensive economic and trade cooperation.
The Azerbaijan-Kuwait agreements ratified by the parliament are about the control and protection of investment, approval of trade agreement between the governments, the lifting of double-taxation.
The parliament also ratified the framework agreement between Azerbaijan and European Commission. The lawmakers also approved the amendments and annexes to the laws on Fire Security, National Archive Fund, Urban Development, Public Service and to the Administrative Code as well.
