Azerbaijanâ€™s President issues order to give onetime financial assistance on occasion of 64th anniversary of victory of 1941-1945 war

On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the victory of 1941-1945 war, the participants of the Great Patriotic War got AZN 150, widows of the warriors killed in the Great Patriotic War and later, persons awarded with medals and orders for their labor in the home front in 1941-1945, employees of special units that fulfilled tasks in favor of the army and fleet inside operation zones during the World War II, persons awarded with orders and medals for defending Leningrad in the World War II, participants of the Leningrad siege got AZN 100.

AZN 5 million has been allocated from the Reserve Fund of Azerbaijani President for this purpose.

Ministry of Finance is to ensure transfer of the money to the special account of State Social Protection Fund, and State Social Protection Fund is to deliver onetime financial assistance to the proper persons.
