Baku. Ulkar Gasimova – APA. Roundtable was held in Azerbaijan Ataturk Center on occasion of Armenians’ marking April 24 as “day of Armenian genocideâ€, APA reports. The event was organized by Eurasia International Research Institute and Women Journalists Association. Head of Eurasia International Research Institute Kamala Pashayeva underlined the importance of holding such events.
“Our compatriots living abroad should be more active. Armenians should be prevented from informing the world community about the so-called genocide, which they mark on April 24 every year. Turks should unite,†she said.
MPs Aydin Mirzazadeh, Ganira Pashayeva and others expressed their views on the theme.
