Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“APA. On Saturday, New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) held a tree-planting campaign in hill-side of Bayil on the eve of 86th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev. YAP authorities, members of the parliament and YAP Youth Organization joined the campaign, APA reports.

About five thousand various trees were planted in the hill-side, YAP Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary Ali Ahmadov told journalists. He said YAP would develop this campaign in other parts of the capital. The partyâ€™s executive secretary said YAP planned the number of events on the occasion of Heydar Aliyevâ€™s 86th anniversary. He said the plan of anniversary events was ready.

YAP has begun the tree-planting measures in the hill-side area since 2003.
