Issue on premature closure of secondary schools to be discussed at next meeting of Eurovision Organizing Committee

He said the shows in the semifinals on May 22 and May 24 will be as interesting as the Grand Final. Adil Karimli expressed his confidence that Azerbaijan will win the Eurovision Song Contest this year, too. According to the head of the Working Group, Azerbaijan has made serious preparations for Eurovision Song Contest.
“Though there is much to do regarding hosting, it does not reduce our determination to struggle. Azerbaijan is striving for victory in Eurovision this year, too. We are sure that our country will gain high results this year, too. All have a high opinion of Sabina Babayeva,†he said.
Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov said there is no decision to close schools before Eurovision 2012. The official of the Foundation said the issue will be discussed at the next meeting of the Organizing Committee.
Anar Alakbarov also commented on the issue on non-admission of cars to the central streets.
“People should know that a lot of guests will arrive in our city. There will be traffic jam. Both the Organizing Committee and the relevant bodies must create conditions for normal management of traffic and for the delegations to reach the show in time. The citizens will be called to drive less,†he said.
Alakbarov said whether the central streets will be closed or not will be known after the decision. The people will be informed after the traffic managers will make analysis.
