Russian security agencies have foiled a drone attack on a strategic defense industry facility in the Moscow region, as well as planned terrorist attacks targeting officers of the Russian Ministry of Defense, APA's Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).

According to the FSB, "the perpetrator was detained, while one of his accomplices was killed after offering armed resistance."

The FSB said the shipment carrying drones equipped with explosive devices reached the Moscow region via Slovakia, Poland, and Belarus.

"A shipment of ceramic tiles delivered to the Moscow region was found to contain 35 FPV drones loaded with explosive devices. The UAVs had been camouflaged and assembled before being sent to Russia, and the cargo was stored in a rented warehouse near the intended target," the FSB said.

The FSB also claimed that well-known Ukrainian blogger and rapper Kyivstoner (real name Albert Vasilyev) was involved in organizing the drone-based terrorist attack in the Moscow region.
