Russian armed forces are fulfilling the tasks of the Northern Military District, advancing confidently along the entire front. In September, 1,300 square kilometers were liberated, Russian President Vladimir Putin recalled while visiting the auxiliary command post of the Joint Group of Forces in the Northern Military District, APA reports.
"The Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out the tasks of the special military operation and are confidently advancing along the entire front," the Supreme Commander-in-Chief concluded.
"The Chief of the General Staff already noted in his report that troop groups have achieved high rates of advancement. It was already mentioned here: in September alone, more than 1,300 square kilometers of territory in Donbas and Novorossiya were liberated," the president recalled, adding that Russian soldiers and officers played a decisive role in this.
