Belarus calls European Parliament resolution politically motivated

Baku-APA. The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has called another resolution of the European Parliament on Belarus " politically motivated," APA reports quoting Xinhua

"Like a high-speed printer the European Parliament forges template-based politically motivated resolutions," Belarusian Foreign Ministry spokesman Andrei Savinykh said on Friday.

"The resolution is far from reality and leads nowhere as the European MPs themselves admit," the official said.

On Friday the European Parliament adopted a resolution on Belarus, which noted the deterioration of the situation of human rights in Belarus and unconformity of the past parliamentary elections to international standards.
