Kremlin hosts meeting of Russian President and Turkish Prime Minister - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Russia. APA’s Moscow correspondent reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin received Turkish Prime Minister in Kremlin. The situation in Syria and regional conflicts were discussed during the meeting.

Before the meeting Erdogan told journalists that economic and political relations between Russia and Turkey were at a high level: “The trade turnover between the two countries is USD 34-35 bln”.

Putin expressed satisfaction with the level of relations with Turkey: “Currently, many Turkish companies are functioning in Russia. These companies invest in Russia’s economy. We have broad relations with Turkey in energy sphere. Turkey takes the second place among countries buying energy from Russia. Currently, we cooperate with Turkey in nuclear energy sphere”.

Putin and Erdogan will hold a joint press conference after the meeting.
