Russia's Ministry of Justice has added director Andrey Zvyagintsev to its register of foreign agents, APA reports.
The ministry's register, updated on September 18, also includes Mikhail Shevelev, Yerzhan Turgumbay, Pavel Ivanov, and the Anarchist-35 project.
According to Russia's Ministry of Justice, Andrey Zvyagintsev participated in the preparation of materials related to foreign agents and organizations whose activities are deemed undesirable in Russia, cooperated with foreign agents, and disseminated what the ministry described as "unreliable information" about the decisions and policies of the Russian authorities.
The ministry stated that the director currently lives outside Russia.
