"The events that took place in Syria yesterday were a new ray of hope for us," Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated during the opening ceremony of the 15th Ambassadors Conference, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.
He noted that Türkiye expects international actors to support the formation of a new government in Syria. According to him, despite Ankara's efforts, the Assad government did not move towards peace with its people.
Hakan Fidan emphasized that his country will continue to stand by the Syrian people and support Syria's territorial integrity.
