"We frankly don't take into account countries (like France) that try to advance their own interests in Syria by using US power, hiding behind it," Türkiye's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, stated during a briefing with local and international media representatives in response to a question about YPG’s call for France to send troops to Syria, APA reports.
The Minister stated that the U.S. is Türkiye's partner: “Some small European countries gain nothing from being under America’s umbrella. Let’s see them operate in the region without the U.S. Our partner is the U.S., and we do not deal with others. If France wants to take action, it must prosecute and imprison its own terrorist citizens.”
