Participants in the talks on the situation in Syria in Riyadh discussed ways to support the political process in Syria after the change of government in Damascus, it was stated in the statement of the Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministry on the results of the meeting, APA reports.
"The participants discussed the issue of supporting the political transition process in Syria. In which the political and social forces of Syria will be represented, respecting the rights of all Syrians," the document states.
The participants also expressed their readiness to work "to resolve any problems or concerns between the various parties through dialogue, support, advice and consultations, while respecting the independence and sovereignty of Syria."
