An Israeli military reservist who operated the country’s Iron Dome air defence system has been arrested on suspicion of spying for Iran, according to Israeli media reports.
The suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Jerusalem resident Raz Koen.
In a joint statement, Israeli police and the Shin Bet domestic security service said Koen is suspected of maintaining contact with Iranian intelligence for several months.
Authorities allege that he carried out a number of tasks on their behalf, including transferring sensitive information in exchange for money.
An investigation into the case is ongoing.
