Iran informs Russia about negotiations with the USA, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said during a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, APA reports.
He mentioned that Iran hopes that Russia will play a constructive role in any potential agreement arising from the negotiations with the USA:
"We are informing Sergey Lavrov about the negotiations (between the USA and Iran). We hope that Russia will continue to play an active and constructive role in any potential agreement."
He also emphasized that China has been informed about the negotiations as well.
"The agreement is possible if the other side refrains from making unrealistic and baseless demands," the Iranian Foreign Minister added.
