In Istanbul, a court case has been filed against five suspects found to be connected to the perpetrators of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert complex in Moscow, APA reports.
According to the indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for Terror Crimes, the accused individuals were identified as having links with those who carried out the terrorist act in Moscow.
The indictment states that the defendants Hofizjon Usmonov, Muteullo Asoev, Rahmatullo Salikov, Muhammadrahim Faizov, and Hamza Muhammed are charged with "membership in an armed terrorist organization," with a request for prison sentences ranging from 7.5 to 15 years.
The 25th Heavy Penal Court of Istanbul has accepted the indictment.
