Eighty-five people have been detained in Iran on charges of cooperating with the enemy, Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s police forces Ahmad Reza Radan said, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.
According to him, 85 individuals accused of cooperating with Israel and the United States were arrested in 25 provinces of Iran.
Radan told journalists that electronic equipment, “Starlink” devices, and weapons and ammunition were discovered and seized from the suspects.
The police chief noted that the detainees had sent information about infrastructure facilities, checkpoints, and the locations of security forces to facilitate the enemy’s operations.
“That information was sent to be used in combat operations,” Radan added.
