China has not provided Iran with any military support since the United States and Israel launched their operation against the Islamic Republic, it was stated at a press briefing attended by a TASS correspondent at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, APA reports.
"Regarding the publications you mentioned, China has made its position on this matter clear on numerous occasions. This information is untrue and completely without factual basis," the diplomatic mission noted. This comment referred to allegations in the American media about China providing military assistance to Iran, including insinuations regarding the transfer of satellite images of various US facilities. "Since the start of the war, China has not provided any military support to Iran," the embassy emphasized.
They also assured that "China, as a responsible state, always works for peace <...>." Beijing calls on all parties to adhere to the course of the speedy restoration of peace in the Persian Gulf region, the embassy added.
