Emin Aghalarov: â€˜Itâ€™s first Azerbaijanâ€™s, then Russiaâ€™s success that I have been honored with an award at the World Music Awardsâ€™

Answering reporters’ questions, the singer said the award is a success of Azerbaijani music: “This, in fact, is a success of us all. It was a surprise for me to have won the prize as I was invited to the contest as a guest. I was just supposed to sing. The award is first Azerbaijan’s, then Russia’s success. I was extremely excited throughout the concert as I was singing live. I dedicate the award to people’s artist Muslum Magomayev”.

Emin Aghalarov was honored with an award at the World Music Awards on May 27. The magnificent night in Monte Carlo was attended by world-famous stars Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Pamela Anderson, and others.
