The exhibition represents more than 2200 examples of art and historical artifacts, and it covers IX-XX centuries, one of the fair organizers told APA’s Washington correspondent.

According to source, one can find at the Freer gallery a huge collection of ceramics dated IX-XIII centuries from Iran, Azerbaijan and other territories that were under Arab Khalifat.

The exhibition also shows Egyptian and Syrian metalwork’s, a collection of Korans from Iran, the Arab world, and Turkey and lots of illustrated and illuminated manuscripts from Iran and the rest of territories of Arab Khalifat.

The exhibition also explains the basics of Islam, retails its history, art and geography, unknown details and specialties.

Visitors of the Freer gallery say it is both interesting and useful, as many people are still feeling uncomfortable about Islam and its followers, but such exhibitions give more educated information and explain that there is no reason to be afraid of Islam.
