Winner of Piano Competition within International Music Festival in Gabala to get AZN 10,000

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“ APA. International Music Festival and Piano Competition continues in Gabala. Rector of Baku Music Academy, art director of Gabala Festival and Competition Farhad Badalbayli told APA that 15 countries are represented in the festival.
â€œThe festival began six days ago. The participants are satisfied with the festival and competition. The guests admire the hospitality of Azerbaijanis and wonderful nature of Gabala. They work and rest here,â€ he said.
Badalbayli said a number of concerts will be held within the framework of the festival. The festival will finish on August 22. The final of the Pianists Competition and awarding ceremony will be held on August 19. The musicians represented in the jury of the Piano Competition will give a concert on August 20.
Farhad Badalbayli said specialists from America, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Russia and Azerbaijan are represented in the jury. Peopleâ€™s artists Mansum Ibrahimov and Aygun Bayramova will give a concert on August 21. Solemn closing ceremony of the International Music Festival will be held on August 22. Clarinet duo Daniel and Alexander Gurfinkel, Vyacheslav Vainorovsky (tenor), Boris Berezovsky (piano) will be accompanied by Raanana Sinfonietta in the closing ceremony. Art director of the Festival and Competition said the winner of the piano competition will get AZN 10,000. The person taking the 2nd place will get AZN 5000 and the person taking the 3rd place will get AZN 3000.
