Film â€œIn the eyes of ghostâ€ by Azerbaijan and France shot in Baku

Baku. Viktoria Dementieva â€“ APA. The second stage of the shooting of â€œIn the eyes of ghostâ€ made by Azerbaijan and France has begun in Baku, screenwriter of the film, famous Azerbaijani playwright Rustam Ibragimbekov said at the press conference, APA reports. The shooting of the film began in Marseilles on July 21. Actor and director of Turski Theater of Marseilles Richard Martene, who plays the leading role in the film, has also come to Baku. Bulgarian Georgi Branev, Teymur Badalbayli, Fatima Ibragimbekova, Shukufa Yusupova, Melek Abbaszadeh, Gulzar Gurbanova also play roles in the film.
The film is about a young man who came to Baku to support Azerbaijanâ€™s struggle for independence in January, 1990 and fell in love with an actress 20 years younger than him.
The film is being made by â€œIbrusâ€ film company by the order of Culture and Tourism Ministry.
Ibragimbekov told journalists that the budget of the film is AZN 1 million. France will pay AZN 200,000, Azerbaijan will pay the rest.
The film director said it was a psychological drama. The shooting will finish by the end of this month. The presentation ceremony of the film will be first held in Baku, and then in Marseilles in March, 2010.
