Azerbaijani culture and tourism exhibition to be opened in Los Angeles

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“ APA. American artist Karen Koblitz solo-exhibition Earth Tones will be opened in Los Angeles from June 27 to July 25 for popularization of the culture and history of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan told APA. Karen Koblitz visited Azerbaijan for many times and closely learned the Azerbaijani cultural heritage. She took special interest in the Azerbaijani art and culture symbols and pieces of material culture. She decided to organize solo-exhibition and to popularize the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan in the United States. Model of the Gobustanâ€™s Gaval Dash (Drum Stone) prepared on the Koblitzâ€™ initiative will also be exhibited there. The visitors will get an opportunity to see DVD-version of Azerbaijani rhythms performed by late Chingiz Mehdiyev on Gaval Dash.
