US administration claims that reports about Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz are false, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said at a briefing, APA reports.
"I repeat, the President's expectation and demand is that the Strait of Hormuz be reopened immediately—quickly and safely. That is his expectation. He has been advised privately that this is the case, and that these public reports [to the contrary] are false," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said at a regular press briefing while she was commenting on Iranian media reports that the Strait of Hormuz is effectively closing again due to Israel's continued military operations in Lebanon.
