The 12th conference on "Investment and Sustainable Development in Microfinance" is being held in Baku, organized by the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA), APA-Economics reports.
Representatives of government agencies, international financial institutions, banks, non-bank credit organizations (NBCOs), insurance and investment companies are participating in the event.
The conference is discussing issues related to attracting investment to the microfinance sector, expanding access to financial services, regulatory mechanisms, and credit risk management.
In addition, digital transformation in the sector, cybersecurity, the application of artificial intelligence in credit assessment, and opportunities for cooperation with fintech companies are in focus.
Note that the conference is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association.
