Iran is attempting to restore its nuclear program following US strikes on its nuclear facilities in June, US Vice President JD Vance has said, APA reports.
Vance stated that Washington’s position remains unchanged and that Iran must not obtain a nuclear weapon.
He warned that if Tehran attempts to rebuild its nuclear weapons capability, it would create a problem for the United States.
Vance also said that representatives of President Donald Trump are scheduled to hold talks with the Iranian side in Geneva on February 26.
“Trump wants the issue to be resolved through diplomatic means, but he has made clear that other options remain on the table,” the vice president added.
