US President Donald Trump prefers diplomacy as a first option on Iran but is prepared to use lethal force if necessary, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Tuesday, APA reports.
The White House spokesperson noted that no one can know what Trump thinks or what steps he will take regarding Iran. She emphasized that she has no information about claims made by those who speculate in the media, hiding behind anonymous sources and acting as if they know what Trump thinks or what decision he will make concerning Iran.
“Operation Midnight Hammer was an extremely successful mission that completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities. However, this does not mean that there will be no attempts to restore the nuclear program,” Karoline Leavitt added.
