The US administration has no connection to the boat incident that occurred near the Cuban coast, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said, APA reports.
Rubio stated that American officials were not involved in the incident.
“A lot could have happened here, but I am not going to speculate about what it might have been. There are many possibilities. Shootings like this on the open sea are extremely unusual. This is not something that happens every day,” Rubio said.
He added that such an incident involving Cuba has not occurred for a very long time and that the United States will investigate all aspects of the case.
