At least 110 people have died in Maui wildfires, according to Hawaii Governor Josh Green, APA reports citing Teletrader.
According to the latest calculations, around 2,200 structures on the island were destroyed or damaged as the United States Fire Administration called the wildfires the deadliest in over 100 years.
Green said firefighters are still working to get the fires under control. The cause is still under investigation, with the island's main power company Hawaiian Electric facing lawsuits alleging its misconduct could have been at the root of the disaster.
