APA reports that informing the Head of State about the station, president of “Azerenergy” JSC Etibar Pirverdiyev said that the station was constructed in 14 ha area over the Bash Mil canal. The plant's total capacity is 25.2 megawatts. The hydroelectric power station will be connected to the energy system of the republic through 110 kw Harami substation and work in parallel mode with the system.
The foundation of the station was laid down by the Head of State during his visit to Fuzuli on April 18, 2008. The construction works have been carried out by Azenco company.
Water reservoir with capacity of 40 000 tones has been established over Bash Mil canal. A new 110 kw substation has been established in the territory of the station and the other related substations reconstructed. Initially, 35 people will work in the station that will play a significant role in ensuring security and sustainability of the lowland regions. About 100 mln kilowatt/hour energy will be produced at the station a year.
Expressing his satisfaction with the work done at the station, President Ilham Aliyev met with the residents of the region.
