Russian air defense systems shot down four Ukrainian Flamingo FP-5 cruise missiles over Russian territory overnight, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 14 guided aerial bombs and 766 kamikaze drones were also intercepted over various Russian regions during the night.
It should be noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a military facility in Cheboksary, the capital of Russia's Chuvash Republic, and the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in Samara with Flamingo cruise missiles earlier today.
The Russian Defense Ministry also announced that it had struck a Ukrainian naval base.
"For the first time, an Argentine-made CR-30 multiple launch rocket system was destroyed in the special military operation zone. Strikes were also carried out against ammunition and fuel depots used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as transport and energy infrastructure facilities, and locations where drones are stored, prepared, and launched. During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost nearly 1,400 servicemen across all directions," the ministry's statement said.
