Under the leadership of Kolja Sporin, head of the ETIC (Extreme Traveler International Congress) club, world-renowned international travelers visited Aghdam as part of their next trip to Karabakh, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
The guests, coming from 8 countries — the USA, the UK, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Ireland, and Portugal — including Charles Veley (USA), founder of the MTP (Most Traveled People) international travelers network, visited the Aghdam Juma Mosque after a car tour around the city.
An employee of the President’s special representative provided the guests with detailed information about the mosque. It was noted that the religious monument was destroyed and looted by the Armenian army during the occupation period. Additionally, pigs were kept inside the building. After the city was liberated from occupation, major restoration works were carried out here, and it was reopened for use.
Note that after visiting Aghdam city, the travelers headed to Khankendi city.

Note that the delegation plans to travel along the Agdam-Khankendi-Lachin-Shusha-Fuzuli route over two days.
To promote the liberated territories within the framework of "black tourism" and to showcase the massive construction and restoration works, international travelers' trips to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur have been organized 14 times between 2021 and 2025 through the main international travelers' clubs worldwide. This is the 15th trip of the same kind.
