Galatasaray have begun official negotiations over the transfer of Milan star Rafael Leao, Apasport.az reports.
The Turkish Super Lig club has started talks with the Serie A side over the transfer of the Portuguese winger.
The 27-year-old footballer will travel to Istanbul today to undergo a medical examination and sign an official contract.
Galatasaray will pay Milan €38 million for Leao’s transfer. Under the agreement, an additional €5 million in bonuses is also envisaged.
The Portuguese footballer will earn an annual salary of €9-10 million at the Istanbul club. Including bonuses, his annual earnings could rise to €12 million.
The bonus conditions include being nominated for the Ballon d’Or and becoming the Turkish Super Lig’s top scorer.
Note that Rafael Leao has played for Milan since 2019. The Portugal international’s contract with the Italian club runs until the summer of 2028.
