Ukraine’s Ambassador to Ankara has been summoned to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APA’s Türkiye correspondent reports, citing local media.
Ukraine’s Ambassador to Ankara Nariman Jalilov was summoned to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs over the targeting in the Black Sea of a Turkish-owned vessel and another vessel sent to tow it.
During the meeting, Türkiye’s reaction to the attacks in question was conveyed to the Ukrainian side, the importance of protecting the safety of people, property, shipping and the environment in the Black Sea was emphasized, and the necessary warnings were issued.
