Following the massive flash floods that struck areas along the Nepal-China border on Wednesday, a total of 768 people in the two countries have been confirmed dead. Thousands more remain missing, APA reports citing NHK.
Nepali authorities say 752 people have been killed and 2,502 are unaccounted for, including five Japanese nationals. On the Chinese side of the border, state-run media say 16 people have died and 546 people remain unaccounted for.
