Starting today, under the leadership of Kolja Spori, head of the ETIC (Extreme Traveler International Congress) club, a new visit of world-renowned international travelers to Karabakh begins, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

Delegation includes participants from eight countries — the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Ireland, and Portugal. Among them is Charles Veley (USA), founder of the international travelers’ network MTP (Most Traveled People).

During their two-day journey, the delegation plans to travel by road along the Agdam–Khankendi–Lachin–Shusha–Fuzuli route.

Between 2021 and 2025, fourteen such visits of international travelers to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur have been organized through the world’s major international travel clubs to promote these liberated territories within the framework of “black tourism” and to showcase the extensive reconstruction and restoration efforts. This is the fifteenth visit of its kind.

In a short period, six cities, two towns, and twenty villages have been rebuilt in the once-devastated areas of Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, with nearly 60,000 people already resettled. Azerbaijan’s unique post-conflict urban development model has turned the region into a point of continuous attraction for international travelers.
