At the expense of the funds gained from the charity campaign held in Azerbaijan during July 10 – August 10, 2 water wells will be drilled in Kenya, densely populated by Somali refugees. These water wells will for a long term supply the people having water problems.
It was noted that the first phase of the campaign under the ICYF-DC was held in Ramadan, 2011: Within humanitarian charity campaign “Extend helping hand to Somali!” over $80,000 were collected and distributed among over 6,000 people (1,200 families) in the form of food products.
