Baku. Aynur Aliyeva - APA. “I approach my first visit to Azerbaijan with great hope. The UNDP operates here since Azerbaijan gained independence. We thank for partnership and support provided so far”, the Administrator of the UN Development Program Helen Clark told journalists.
According to her, the UN program for the country will be updated, Board of Directors of the Organization will be formed in Azerbaijan and cooperation with Azerbaijan will be discussed.
“The UN cooperated with Azerbaijan in modernization of social services, sustainable development, empowering women, equalization of rights for a long time. Of course, I also will meet with female leaders as part of this visit”, Clark said.
